Good Afternoon Players and Parents
Please be advised due to the bush fires we have cancelled all High School, Primary School and Funball competitions for the 15th & 16th of November.
Year 5/6 Boys and Girls teams please be advised unfortunately we will be unable to repeat the double header rounds that were scheduled.
We apologies for the inconvenience this causes however our players health and welfare needs to come first.

Due to the Port Macquarie Seaside Classic Basketball Tournament being held this weekend, we do not have enough Referees to cover our Primary School Competition this Saturday 2nd November.
We have decided to reschedule the round with the following:
16th November - Double round for 5/6 boys and girls
23rd November - Double round for 3/4 boys and girls
30th November - Double round for Funball boys and girls.
There is also no round on Saturday 9th November due to a volleyball competition being held at Sportz Central, this has been booked in all year.
The updated draws will be available online next week - www.coffsharbourbasketball.com.au

Sunday 17th AND 24th November 9.30am – 11.00am 12 boys and girls 11.30pm – 1.00pm 14 boys and girls 2.00pm – 3.30pm 16 boys and girls 4.00pm – 5.30pm 18 boys and girls ....Finer details…. - Players are to arrive 30 mins prior to their trial to warm up, get an ID number on their arm and be signed in by their Parent/Guardian. - Players who have played Representative basketball for another basketball association must complete a permission to trial form before trialling. - Players unable to trial because of injury/sickness must present a medical certificate. - Players unable to trial for any other reason must submit an exemption request in writing to rep@coffsharbourbasketball.com.au. - Players must register online. Registrations close Wednesday 13th November (midnight). - Cost is $5 per trial payable on the day. - Players are not to wear any representative uniforms at trials (TAP, rep, state etc). - Could players please wear a light/dark reversible singlet and bring a basketball and a drink bottle. - All players selected into a Coffs Harbour Representative team must participate in CHBA’s domestic competition. - Teams and/or squads will be announced on our CHBA website and Facebook page no later than EOB Wednesday 27th November. All members please be advised that our Secretary Monica Sully has resigned from the Coffs Harbour Board of Management effective immediately. Monica's contribution to the association has been enormous and we will never be able to thank her enough.
The CHBA Secretary position will remain vacant until the 2020 AGM elections. Nominations for the position will be asked for prior to the AGM and in accordance with our constitution.
In the interim Garrick Williams current, CHBA board member will act in the role in order to ensure our members are looked after. Please continue to use the secretary@coffsharbourbasketball.com.au email address for any communications and Garrick will endeavour to answer or pass on your enquiries as appropriate.
